I still get people question me on why I still shoot film with the 1000's of so called advances in digital photography. I still cant give any of you an answer as I dont know why. The effort of the whole process is mega. All that extra effort of having to buy film, shoot the film, mix up chemicals, load it onto a reel, put the film inside a tank, develop the film, wash the film, hang the film to dry, then finally cut and scan the film. Yes it is effort, but being able to do the whole process yourself is fun, and film gives results you just dont get from digital. Maybe im just sad, ignorant, or just still a film nerd. But dont think I will ever stop shooting it. So enjoy a few B&W photos...
These are all shot on some Ilford HP5 Pushed a 1 stop to 800iso. Developed in Microphen developer (stock) then fixed with Ilford Rapid Fixer.
